Dose = Duration.
Dose, depth, position and placement are important when your injector is doing your Botox. It is important to choose an injector who is knowledgeable and takes your individual aesthetic goals, anatomy and muscle strength into account.
Replenish volume.
On average, we lose one teaspoon of volume per decade, so it’s important to take that into consideration when mapping out your aesthetic goals. Fun Fact: adding one teaspoon of volume back into the face is equivalent to five syringes of filler!
Never skip the cleanse.
Properly prepping your skin is important when investing in strong, medical-grade skincare and serums. One of the most important steps in your skincare routine is a thorough cleanse so that the rest of your skincare lineup can properly absorb and work its best!
Consistency is key.
Skincare slackers beware — there should be no days off when it comes to your routine! Slow and steady wins the race with many products, and while we all crave immediate results, always remember to set aside time (AM and PM) for your routine to work its magic.
Consider your collagen.
Collagen production slows as we age. It’s important to maintain and stimulate collagen and elasticity production through combination treatments and products.
Remember: Botox is NOT a wrinkle eraser!
But it does help relax the muscles and reduce friction, slowing the formation of the lines and wrinkles you’re targeting. A little medical-grade skincare never hurts to really combat those fine lines and deeper wrinkles!
